Why am I running for Town Council?
Make North Hempstead Affordable for Youth and Seniors
Expand property tax exemptions and rebates for seniors beyond Nassau’s STAR program.
Create a “tax freeze” or hardship deferment program for qualifying elderly residents, allowing taxes to be paid upon sale if cash flow is an issue.
Advocate for an increase in the STAR exemption limits or provide new rebates targeted to seniors and young first-time buyers.
Negotiate inclusionary zoning policies that require a percentage of new units to be affordable for low and middle-income residents, like the youth just starting their careers.
North Hempstead needs change rooted in accountability, transparency, and integrity. I’m running for this seat to bring those values back to North Hempstead Town Hall. That means making sure the local government respects your voice, your time, and your tax dollars.
